A brand-new 14-inch TFT LCD display module is released for the embedded device market, featuring 1920×1080 full HD resolution, 800 cd/m² high brightness and native Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) interface. Optimized for low-power and high-stability equipment design, this panel serves as a cost-effective display solution for industrial control, portable medical devices and indoor commercial terminals.

The screen adopts standard 16:9 aspect ratio with an active display area of 309.1 mm × 173.9 mm. It features a pixel pitch of 161.1 µm and 157 PPI, delivering sharp text and UI effects at common viewing distances of 30–50 cm, perfectly matching human-machine interface (HMI) equipment demands.

With a typical brightness of 800 cd/m², this module outperforms regular consumer displays (250–400 cd/m²) and guarantees clear viewing under strong ambient light. Equipped with IPS LCD structure, it achieves a static contrast ratio of 1000:1 and over 170-degree full viewing angle without obvious color distortion or gamma shift.

It adopts standard VESA Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) as the core transmission interface:

1. 4 HBR2 lanes running at 2.7 Gbps per lane, supporting 1080P 60Hz output with 24-bit 8-bit RGB full color;

2. COG packaging integrates built-in TCON (Timing Controller) and driving ICs to simplify overall structural design;

3. Optional VESA DSC (Display Stream Compression) technology lowers bandwidth load for main control SoCs;

4. Eliminates extra LVDS transceivers, effectively reducing PCB layout complexity and EMI interference.

The module works steadily within 0°C to +50°C operating temperature, suitable for general industrial and auxiliary vehicle display use cases. By contrast, automotive instrument panels deployed in extreme hot/cold environments usually require a wider temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, which this model does not target.

Mechanically, the whole panel reaches an ultra-slim thickness of around 3.5 mm, with a bottom-side 20Pin FPC connector for eDP signal transmission. No alternative interfaces including MIPI DSI, HDMI and parallel RGB are reserved on this version.

The phase-out of traditional LVDS interfaces on this product reflects the mainstream industry transition: eDP has become the standard connection for medium & large-size embedded screens, balancing transmission bandwidth, power consumption and signal stability.
